Tibetans, with their distinct culture, religion, language and national identity, are an oppressed people in China-occupied Tibet and face the real threat of assimilation and extinction. The Committee of 100 for Tibet (C100) is dedicated to educating people and governments on the tragic human rights situation that exists in Tibet today, keeping Tibet on the international political agenda, and advancing the Tibetan people's legitimate right to decide their own future through the process of self-determination.
